Chad Bion Yates is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Yates is the President and Principal Attorney at Beck & Yates, A Professional Law Corporation, a law firm located in Modesto, California. He has been practicing law for over eighteen years, serving clients throughout the Central Valley region.
Mr. Yates earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated in 2007. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at UC Hastings, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in civil litigation and estate planning.
Mr. Yates concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business law, and civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving wills, trusts, powers of attorney, business formation, commercial transactions, and real estate disputes. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Yates has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Stanislaus, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Gianelli & Associates, PLC, and as a law clerk at The Farrace Law Firm, P.C., gaining experience in civil, commercial, and real estate litigation.
Mr. Yates is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He has served as a director for the Alzheimer/Dementia Support Center, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. He is fluent in English, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Central Valley effectively.
