About Cesar
Cesar Gavidia is a partner in the Disability Income Division at Dell & Schaefer, Chartered, located in Hollywood, Florida. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, focusing primarily on disability insurance claims. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005 and the California State Bar in 2006, he has represented clients across nearly every state in the U.S. Born and raised in Florida, Mr. Gavidia earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Florida State University.
He then pursued his Juris Doctor at St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating in 2005. Throughout his career, Mr. Gavidia has assisted thousands of disability claimants, recovering millions of dollars in short and long-term disability benefits. His practice encompasses all stages of disability claims, including applications, ERISA appeals, litigation, and lump-sum policy buyouts.
He has litigated against major disability insurance companies, gaining extensive knowledge of their internal claims handling processes. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Gavidia is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a result, the attorney can serve clients effectively.
