About Cassie L.
Cassie L. Baudean earned her undergraduate degree in political science and international studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007. She continued her studies at the University of Richmond School of Law and received her J.D. in 2009. Those years framed an early interest in public service and community engagement that has threaded through her career.
After law school Baudean entered legal practice in Virginia. She has balanced courtroom and advisory work with an active presence in local nonprofit and civic groups. Early on she joined a local board associated with Hanover Cares in 2012. That role brought direct exposure to community needs and local social services networks.
In 2013 she took on a legal role with the Police Benevolent Association. Her association with that group has continued into the present and reflects an ongoing relationship with public safety institutions and the legal matters that surround them. In 2014 she began volunteering with Hanover Safe Place, a role she continues. The volunteer work put her in regular contact with organizations that support children and families, reinforcing practical knowledge about community resources and the intersection of law and social services.
Baudean also served on the Young Women’s Leadership Alliance Board for the YWCA of Richmond in 2015. That board service involved program oversight and community outreach efforts aimed at leadership development for young women. The combination of board work and volunteer efforts has given her sustained experience in governance and nonprofit operations.
Her practice has unfolded alongside these community commitments. Colleagues describe her work as steady and methodical. She approaches legal questions in the same straightforward way she approached board and volunteer responsibilities: identify the issue, gather the facts, and proceed with a plan. She has navigated matters that touch local government, public safety, and community organizations, and she brings that practical perspective to client matters.
Baudean lives and works in Virginia. She remains involved in the local groups she joined earlier in her career and continues to balance practice with civic engagement. She practices law in Virginia, handling matters for individuals and organizations at the state level.
