About Cassidy
Cassidy Pearson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2010. She moved into practice in Texas after law school and built a career that combines courtroom work, client counseling and case management. Her academic background provided a foundation in both legal research and practical advocacy.
Her first post-law school role was as a staff lawyer at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas in 2011. There she handled client matters that required quick triage and steady advocacy. In 2015 she joined Beal Law Office PLLC as a senior associate, a role that expanded her responsibility for complex case preparation and court appearances. In 2020 she worked at The Ashmore Law Office. In 2023 she began at Goranson Bain Ausley, where she is listed as a family law lawyer.
Over the course of her career she has concentrated on family law practice. That work includes representation in divorce, custody and support matters, and often involves contested hearings as well as negotiated settlements. Her earlier work at Legal Aid exposed her to low-income clients and to high-volume practice environments. Those experiences shaped how she manages clients and prioritizes tasks in more complex private-practice matters.
Pearson has been active in local bar associations. She belonged to the Denton County Young Lawyers Association from 2011 through 2015. From 2015 through 2022 she participated in the Dallas and Tarrant County Bar Associations. She holds membership in the Texas Bar College, a status she has maintained since 2016. These memberships have kept her connected to continuing education and to regional colleagues who practice family law and related civil matters.
Colleagues describe her approach as direct and methodical. She prepares cases with attention to procedural detail and the practical calendar of hearings, filings and discovery. That preparation often shapes settlement conversations and courtroom strategies. She also brings experience from both public-interest work and private practice to client interviews and case planning.
She practices in Texas and handles matters at Goranson Bain Ausley. Her current practice centers on family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support issues.
