About Cary
Cary Saperstein earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois–Chicago John Marshall Law School in 1990. He completed his legal education after several years of study that culminated in the J.D., preparing him for practice in Illinois courts. His connection to Chicago's legal community dates back to that period, and his early training at John Marshall informed his approach to courtroom work and client advocacy.
After law school Saperstein moved into private practice and became an active member of Illinois's bar community. He joined the State Bar of Illinois in 1990 and has maintained that membership continuously. He also joined the Chicago Bar Association the same year and remains a member. Those memberships have kept him engaged with local bar activities and continuing legal education offerings over a long career.
Over the years Saperstein has developed a practice grounded in state law and the procedures of Illinois courts. He built a practice in the Chicago area and established his office under the Saperstein Law Group name. Colleagues and clients know him for steady courtroom presence and practical legal counsel. He has handled matters that require careful preparation and an understanding of both litigation mechanics and client priorities.
Saperstein's work reflects the rhythms of everyday legal practice in a major metropolitan area. He has spent decades managing case files, briefing courts, and appearing at hearings. That routine work has involved drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and representing clients at trial-level proceedings. He aims to provide clear explanations to clients so they can make informed decisions about their cases.
He has remained connected to the legal community through ongoing bar membership and local associations. Those ties have given him access to educational programs and peer networks that support continuing development. He has used those resources to stay current on developments in Illinois law and procedure.
Today Saperstein operates from the Saperstein Law Group. He continues to represent individuals and entities in matters arising under Illinois law and appears in state courts when cases require it. He currently practices at Saperstein Law Group, representing clients in matters before Illinois courts and offering counsel on state-law issues.
