Carrie Stradley Lavargna is a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney with over 40 years of legal experience, specializing in business law, estate planning, real estate law, and elder law. She is the founder of Lavargna Law, PLLC, located at 1805 S. Kanner Highway, Stuart, Florida 34994. A native Floridian, Carrie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1983. During her time in law school, she was a member of the Florida Law Review, which supports her legal scholarship and excellence. After earning her law degree, Carrie served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Law.

There, she taught courses in banking, legal writing, and real estate law. Her contributions to legal education were recognized when she received the distinguished "Ibis" faculty honor from the school. This experience not only enhanced her teaching skills but also broadened her knowledge of complex legal concepts, which she now shares with her clients. Before founding Lavargna Law in 2004, Carrie worked at a national law firm in Philadelphia and at White & Case in Miami, where she focused on real estate law. Her role as in-house counsel for a regional land development and environmental consulting firm provided her with a knowledge of real estate, business, and estate matters. This diverse background has been instrumental in shaping her current practice, particularly in probate law, where she assists families in navigating the legal process with care and clarity.

Carrie is an active member of The Florida Bar and the Martin County Bar Association. She has held leadership positions with several professional and civic organizations, including serving as President of the Martin County Estate Planning Council. Additionally, she is a member of the Executive Board of the Justice Major B. Harding American Inns of Court. Her involvement in these organizations demonstrates her commitment to the legal community and her dedication to setting high standards in Florida probate and estate law. In her practice, Carrie focuses on probate law, providing personalized legal guidance rooted in professionalism and deep respect for her clients' needs.

Known for her integrity and dedication, she aims to offer clarity and compassion during difficult periods. Since 2016, Carrie has practiced alongside her son, Anthony "Tony" Lavargna, who joined the firm. Together, they serve clients across the Treasure Coast and throughout Florida, fostering a family-oriented approach to legal services that prioritizes the well-being of their clients.
