About Carrie

Carrie Frank built a layered academic foundation before she entered the courtroom. She earned a B.S. in sociology and psychology from Long Island University–C.W. Post, followed by a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She later completed an M.S.S.W. at Columbia University, adding formal social work training to her legal education.

After law school she began practicing in Colorado. Over the years she has developed trial experience across a range of civil matters. Her social work training informs how she prepares witnesses and frames harms in court. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and is active in the state’s trial bar.

Her involvement in professional organizations has been a consistent part of her career. She has served as president of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and remains on its board. At the national level she has held leadership posts in the American Association for Justice, including past co-chair of the National College of Advocacy and past chair of the Product Liability Committee. She also belongs to the American Society of Trial Consultants.

Those leadership roles reflect an emphasis on trial craft and on complex civil liability matters. Colleagues describe her work on product liability education programs and trial training at the AAJ. She has led panels and workshops intended to prepare lawyers for jury trials and high-stakes hearings.

Frank practices at Klein Frank, P.C., where she tries cases on behalf of plaintiffs. Her practice includes product liability litigation and other civil trial work that relies on detailed case preparation, expert collaboration, and courtroom presentation. She often draws on social work techniques when evaluating client needs and preparing testimony.

Outside the courtroom she continues to teach and mentor other trial lawyers through association programs. She remains active in Colorado’s legal community and in national trial circles. She currently practices at Klein Frank, P.C., handling product liability and complex civil trials.
