About Caroline S.

Caroline S. Wampold earned her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2020. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, receiving a B.A. in political science in 2017. Those years in school gave her a foundation in legal research, writing, and the workings of state and local government. Courses and clinics at Loyola exposed her to courtroom procedure and transactional practice, while her time at LSU shaped an interest in how law and policy intersect.

After law school, Wampold entered the legal profession in Louisiana. She is admitted to practice in the state and holds membership in the Louisiana State Bar Association. Early on she gravitated toward back-office practice areas that center on firm risk and ethics. That path led to roles where careful record-keeping, attention to detail, and a cautious approach to client relationships are essential.

She joined Kean Miller LLP and now works there as a conflicts analyst lawyer. In that capacity she reviews potential client representations for conflicts, maintains and updates conflicts databases, and assists attorneys in obtaining clearances when matters potentially overlap. The role requires assessing prior engagements, identifying potential ethical issues, and documenting findings in a way that supports firm decision-making. Her work is part legal analysis and part practice operations, helping ensure the firm meets its professional responsibilities while managing intake efficiently.

Wampold’s background in political science and her law school training inform the way she approaches conflict analysis. She applies legal research skills to trace prior matter histories and uses procedural knowledge to guide attorneys through clearance processes. At Kean Miller she is based in the firm’s office structure and collaborates across practice groups. Colleagues rely on her for thorough reviews and methodical case intake practices. She continues to develop her expertise in conflicts checks and related firm procedures and focuses her current practice on conflicts analysis and risk management at Kean Miller LLP.
