About Caroline

Caroline Fischer pursued her legal education at Emory University School of Law, where she completed the coursework that prepared her for practice in Florida. Her time at Emory provided a foundation in litigation and client counseling, and it shaped how she approaches casework and courtroom strategy.

After law school, Fischer entered private practice in Florida. In 2018 she worked as an associate at NeJame Law. That role placed her on teams handling contested matters and client intake, and it exposed her to the operational side of a busy firm. The following year she left to start her own firm. In 2019 she co-founded First Choice Law. As a founding partner she helped build the firm’s procedures and client service model from the ground up. Her responsibilities there included managing client files, supervising support staff, and guiding the firm’s litigation calendar.

Her early career moved quickly from associate to founder. That trajectory reflects a willingness to take on managerial duties as well as casework. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and clear in courtroom presentations. She has handled hearings, depositions, and motion practice, and she often represents clients directly in state court proceedings.

Fischer maintains active memberships in professional groups that serve attorneys in her region. She attends continuing legal education programs to keep current on state procedural changes and evolving case law. In firm meetings she emphasizes compliance with court rules and deadlines, and she mentors junior lawyers who join First Choice Law.

In practice she divides her time between advising clients on case strategy and handling litigation tasks that arise during a matter’s lifecycle. Her daily work mixes client meetings, drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and appearing at court. She also spends time on case intake and initial interviews, an area she finds useful for setting realistic expectations early on.

Over time Fischer has kept a practical orientation. She aims for thorough preparation and steady courtroom performance rather than headlines. Her approach is procedural and hands-on. As of 2026 she continues to practice at First Choice Law. Her current practice concentrates on litigation and client representation in Florida courts.
