About Carol Anne
Carol Anne Armstrong is an immigration attorney based in Raleigh, North Carolina — She has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 1991. She earned her Juris Doctor from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1990 and her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. Throughout her career, Ms. Armstrong has alternated between private practice and federal service. She has served as counsel to two U.S.
Senators and as District Counsel for three U.S. House Representatives. In January 2021, she retired from federal service and reopened her private immigration law practice. In her private practice, Ms. Armstrong has represented numerous families, employers, and employees.
She has traveled to Croatia and Thailand for consular processing of nonimmigrant visas and has represented clients at family-based visa interviews in CIS district offices. Ms. Armstrong is a member of the North Carolina State Bar. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
