About Carmine
Carmine Perri studied philosophy at Sacred Heart University and graduated with a B.S. in 2002. He earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2005. Those years laid the groundwork for a practice centered on probate and elder law issues.
He began his legal career as an associate at Bishop, Jackson & Kelly, LLC in 2006. After several years there he moved to Czepiga Daly Pope in 2013 as a partner. In 2018 he became a principal at Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri LLC. The progression shows a steady move from associate to leadership within firms that handle estate and probate matters.
Perri’s professional affiliations reflect the subjects he works on daily. He has been active in the Connecticut Bar Association’s Elder Law Section and served as its chairman beginning in 2022. He holds membership in the Connecticut Bar’s Estates & Probate Section and sits on the Probate Practice Book Advisory Committee, Sub-Committee II. He also participates in the Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, where he has taken on roles such as publications co-chair and chair of litigation sub-committees. Other memberships include the CT Trial Lawyers Association and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association. He has been involved with NAELA’s consumer protection committee since 2015.
That mix of committee work and bar leadership informs his day-to-day work. He handles contested probate and estate matters, guardianship proceedings and litigation that intersects with elder law. Colleagues note his regular appearances in probate courts across the state. He combines courtroom experience with drafting and advisory work for clients facing complex post-death and incapacity issues. His committee roles have kept him engaged in discussions about probate practice rules and elder law policy in Connecticut.
Outside of court filings and committee meetings, Perri’s practice is anchored at Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri LLC, where he serves as a principal and continues to represent clients in probate, estate and elder law disputes. He maintains an active role in state bar sections and professional committees while practicing in Connecticut.
He currently focuses his practice on probate litigation, elder law matters and estate administration in Connecticut.
