About Carlton C.

Carlton C. Casler built the foundation of his legal life on two distinct strands: military service and technical business training. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific College in 1984 while serving on active duty in the U.S. Army. His undergraduate coursework included business law and computer science, a combination that shaped his thinking about legal problems from early on.

After completing his military service and undergraduate degree, Casler went on to law school at Arizona State University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1990. The move from the discipline of the armed forces to the demands of a law program was a clear progression. He arrived in law school with practical experience balancing responsibility, time management, and technical coursework.

Those formative years left a mark on how he approaches cases and client work. His training in business law gave him a transactional lens. His coursework in computer science introduced him to technical questions that increasingly intersect with legal issues. That dual perspective has informed his career choices and the types of matters he takes on.

Casler entered legal practice after law school. Over the years he has handled matters where commercial considerations and technical detail meet. He approaches each matter by breaking complex problems into manageable parts. He explains legal issues plainly to clients and focuses on practical outcomes rather than abstract theory.

Colleagues and clients have noted his steady demeanor and methodical approach. He tends to take on cases that require careful analysis of contracts, systems, or corporate structures. He has worked across different settings and with a range of clients, from individual business owners to organizations that need clarity on technical or commercial questions.

Outside of casework, his background suggests an ability to adapt to changing legal landscapes. The combination of military experience, business training, and legal education has given him a pragmatic toolbox. He applies that toolbox to disputes, negotiations, and advisory work alike.

He currently focuses his practice on business and technology-related legal matters.
