About Carlo Anthony
Carlo Anthony LaMonica built his legal foundation through a mix of regional and national schooling. He earned a J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, followed by an M.S. from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. from Cameron University. Those degrees chart a path from undergraduate study to professional training and graduate coursework, a background that informs how he approaches client work.
After completing his studies, LaMonica entered private practice. In 2014 he founded LaMonica Law Office LLC and has served as its lawyer and owner since then. Running a small firm has allowed him to handle both routine and complex matters. He manages the business side of the practice as well as client files, a combination that keeps him closely involved in daily legal work.
LaMonica is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has maintained memberships in several local and specialty bar groups: the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Lackawanna Bar Association, the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Lawyers, all listing membership from 2014 to the present. He also belongs to the New Jersey State Bar Association, with membership recorded from 2013 onward. Those affiliations reflect both geographic ties and an interest in elder law issues.
Colleagues and clients describe his approach as pragmatic. He handles matters that commonly arise for older adults and their families, including planning, care transitions, and the paperwork that surrounds long-term services. He also advises on related estate planning matters, guardianship, and steps families take when someone loses capacity. He tends to handle these issues by breaking them into clear decisions, explaining options, and preparing documents and filings when needed.
LaMonica’s practice has remained steady under his own firm banner for more than a decade. He regularly participates in bar association activities and engages with specialty elder law groups to stay current on changes that affect older clients. He continues to represent clients through LaMonica Law Office LLC. He currently focuses on elder law, estate planning and related matters at LaMonica Law Office LLC.
