Carlia S Waite built her path to law on a foundation of social work and behavioral science. She earned a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Missouri State University in 1995, followed by an M.S. in Social Work from the same school in 1998. She then turned to the law and received her J.D. from UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2003, where her studies emphasized divorce law.
After law school, Waite moved into private practice. She opened the Carlia Waite Law Office in 2005 and has operated it since. That early decision to run her own office shaped how she approaches cases — practical, client-centered, and organized. In 2015 she also served as a divorce lawyer at Right Lawyers, adding experience in a different firm setting and broadening her courtroom exposure.
