About Carli Jo
Carli Jo Aelker built a legal path that moves from classroom to courtroom to consultancy. She completed a J.D. at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2021 and followed that with an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University School of Law in 2022.
Her graduate training in tax law came at a moment when tax issues were growing more complex for both individuals and businesses. That advanced study gave her a detailed grounding in federal tax rules, research methods, and the specialized vocabulary that tax practice requires. The LL.M. reinforced work she began during law school and created a bridge to practice in tax litigation and advisory roles.
