About Camyla

Camyla Hernandez-Meneses took a direct route to law after an undergraduate study that combined criminal justice and psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from McKendree College in 2019, where she majored in criminal justice and minored in psychology. She continued her legal education at Florida A&M University College of Law, completing her Juris Doctor in 2022.

Her time in law school coincided with a period of rapid change in the profession. She entered the legal field as new technologies and shifting court procedures were reshaping practice. The classroom and the clinic offered contrasting lessons. In one, she learned the doctrine and procedure that structure litigation. In the other, she encountered the practical demands of client interaction and case management.

After graduating, she began practicing in Florida. She joined Quintero-Fortich Legal, where she has worked since moving into practice. She also became an active member of professional organizations in 2022 and maintains those memberships. That early involvement in bar and community groups reflects a common path for recent law graduates who seek practical contacts while building a caseload.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and careful in court filings. She approaches each matter by breaking it down into its component facts and legal issues. That process-oriented style influences how she prepares pleadings and interacts with opposing counsel. It also shapes her approach to client meetings; she tends to prioritize clarity and realistic next steps over speculation.

Her practice is centered in Florida courts. She handles filings, attends hearings, and works directly with clients through the stages of a case. The work demands day-to-day adaptability. Court schedules change, evidence needs arise, and negotiation opportunities appear at short notice. She responds by keeping a steady rhythm: organize, review, act.

Outside the office she has remained connected to the legal community through continuing education and association activity. That engagement keeps her familiar with changes in state procedure and emerging issues in practice. It also provides a network of peers for consultation on complex questions.

Camyla Hernandez-Meneses maintains an active practice at Quintero-Fortich Legal in Florida. Her current work centers on providing legal services to clients in state matters and managing litigation tasks from pleadings through hearings.
