About Cameron
Cameron Kawato built a path that moves between business roles and the practice of law. He completed undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, earning a B.S. in Political Science and Economics in 2017. He then went on to Regent University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2021. Those classroom years set up a professional life that has alternated between corporate leadership and legal practice.
Before law school he held financial responsibilities as chief financial officer at Weekndr Corporation in 2015. After law school he stepped into several leadership positions in quick succession. In 2021 he served as president of two business entities, Purple Wisteria Holdings and 10k Trading, and took on the role of managing partner at Anzen Legal Group. The following year he joined Block Convey, Inc. as vice president of compliance.
The variety of positions gives Kawato a practical viewpoint on how companies handle risk, contracts and governance. His experience ranges from day-to-day accounting and treasury functions to running small corporate entities and overseeing compliance programs. Those different perspectives inform how he approaches client matters and internal firm management.
Kawato is active in Colorado. He is admitted to practice in that jurisdiction and holds a public notary commission from the Colorado Secretary of State. That combination means he handles matters that require both legal advice and the formalities of notarization. It also positions him to work with Colorado businesses and individuals on transactional and compliance matters.
At Anzen Legal Group he serves as managing partner and maintains an office there. His practice reflects the mix of roles he has filled: corporate governance, contract work, regulatory compliance, and transactional support for small and mid-sized companies. He has moved between in-house and outside counsel roles, and that movement is visible in the work he accepts and the way he structures client relationships.
Kawato’s record shows a preference for hands-on work. He takes on drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on compliance programs and supporting corporate transactions. He also handles the notarial tasks that often accompany closing documents. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic; he tends to focus on solving immediate legal and business problems rather than abstract issues.
He currently practices from Anzen Legal Group in Colorado. His practice focuses on corporate compliance, business transactions and notarial services.
