About Camden Douglas
Camden Douglas DeLong trained at Chapman University Fowler School of Law. He completed his legal education there and went on to practice in California. His path through law school was followed by entry into work on estate-related matters in the state where he is licensed.
DeLong's career has been built around trust and estate planning. Early in his practice he worked on drafting testamentary instruments, preparing trusts and guiding clients through probate procedures. Over time he expanded the scope of his work to include issues that commonly accompany estate planning, such as conservatorships and guardianships, tax considerations for estates, and strategies for transferring wealth between generations.
He has been active in professional associations since 2013. That involvement has included attending continuing-education programs and participating in local legal networks. Those activities have helped him stay current on changes in California probate law and on procedural developments that affect fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
DeLong maintains a hands-on approach in client matters. He handles document preparation and estate administration directly, and he also advises on how different planning tools may affect a client's long-term objectives. He works with individuals and families as well as with trustees and executors. In contested situations he has experience coordinating with litigation counsel when disputes over wills or trusts arise, though his day-to-day practice centers on planning and administration rather than courtroom advocacy.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in reviewing estate documents and practical in explaining options to clients. He places emphasis on clear communication, aiming to make complex rules and deadlines understandable for people who are often dealing with emotional and financial stress. DeLong's file management tends to reflect an organized approach to statutory timelines and court filings, an important aspect of estate work in California.
He is currently based at Generations Trust & Estate Planning. From that office he advises clients on estate planning instruments, trust administration, and related fiduciary responsibilities. His practice continues to address the practical and legal questions that arise when families plan for the transfer of assets and manage estates after a death.
