About Callie Cole
Callie Cole Dodson graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2018. She finished law school at a time when many new lawyers moved quickly into private practice. Her legal education provided the foundation for the work she has carried out in Texas since earning her degree.
She began her career as an associate at Schneider Law Office, P.C., joining that firm in 2018. In that role she worked on client matters and learned the day-to-day demands of a small-firm practice. The early years of practice gave her experience in case preparation, legal research and drafting documents for a range of matters handled by the firm.
In 2023 she joined Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC as an associate. That move placed her within a multi-office firm operating in several Texas locations, including the Keller office. At Barnett Howard & Williams she continued to develop the practical skills that are central to private practice: counseling clients, preparing filings and supporting litigation and transactional teams as needed. Colleagues note she adapts to different assignments and the shifting priorities that come with firm work.
Her work since law school has been concentrated in Texas. She is admitted to practice in the state and maintains her professional activities there. She has built a practice profile that reflects steady progression from a small firm setting to a larger firm environment, carrying over responsibilities for client communication and detailed legal work.
Outside of firm titles, her roles have been consistently that of an associate attorney. Those positions have required collaboration with more senior lawyers, regular interaction with clients and managing deadlines inherent in legal matters. She has handled procedural and substantive tasks tied to the firms’ cases and matters and has been involved in the practical aspects of case management.
Callie Cole Dodson now works at Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC, practicing law across the firm’s Texas offices and continuing to handle client representation and case work in the state.
