About Caitlin
Caitlin Thorpe brought an early interest in communications to a career in law. She earned a B.A.M.C in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Louisiana State University at the University of New Orleans. That foundation in messaging and public engagement preceded her decision to attend law school. She completed her J.D. at South Texas College of Law in 2014.
Her time in law school led directly into practice in Texas. Since finishing her degree, Thorpe has worked in family law, building a practice that intersects courtroom work, negotiated settlements and client counseling. Her profile combines litigation experience with the steady pace of case management that family law often requires.
Thorpe is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That certification reflects sustained work in the area and a formal recognition by the state’s certification body. She is admitted to practice in Texas and maintains regular court appearances in that jurisdiction.
