About Caitlin
Caitlin Jachimowicz began her academic path at Seattle University, where she earned a B.A. and added a minor in philosophy. She went on to complete her law degree at Santa Clara University in 2009. Those years set the foundations for a career that has moved between public service and private practice.
Early in her career she took a seat in the legislative world. She served as a congressional assistant to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren in the U.S. House of Representatives. Time on Capitol Hill exposed her to the mechanics of federal policy and constituent work. After that period she returned to California and took a law fellowship at the Panetta Institute of Public Policy, an experience that kept her close to public law and governance.
Jachimowicz has also worked inside county government. She held a law clerk position with the Santa Clara County District Lawyer office. That role gave her courtroom exposure and hands-on experience with local prosecutions and public-sector legal procedures. She later moved into private practice as an associate at The Law Office of Daniel Jensen, P.C., where she handled a variety of client matters and developed practice-handling skills.
She now practices as a lawyer at Jachimowicz Law Group. The firm operates an office in Morgan Hill and serves local residents and businesses. Her transition to running a named practice marked a shift toward managing client relationships and the business side of legal work, alongside delivering legal services.
Outside the office she remains active in community and educational programs. She volunteers with the High School Mock Trial Competition and the Legal Scholars Program, helping to mentor students interested in the law. She also serves as a commissioner on the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Commission, a role that ties her to local planning and civic issues.
Those experiences combine a public-law background with trial and client work. Her training at Santa Clara University School of Law and early roles in government inform the way she approaches cases and client counsel. She keeps an active presence in her community and in legal education efforts.
Her practice is based in Morgan Hill and she accepts matters through Jachimowicz Law Group. Currently she handles civil and local matters in and around Santa Clara County and consults on issues that intersect with public policy and county administration.
