About Caitlin Elizabeth

Caitlin Elizabeth Dennis built her legal career steadily, starting long before she carried a client file. She attended Washington State University’s Vancouver campus and later completed the Washington State Bar Association Law Clerk Program in 2012. Those early steps set the stage for a career spent in Washington practice.

Her entry into law offices began in a support role in 2006 as a legal assistant at Gregerson & Langsdorf, PS. The position offered early exposure to case preparation and office systems. She returned to that firm’s successor teams in a more advanced capacity in 2013, working as a paralegal and law clerk at Langsdorf, Ferguson & Posner, PS. Over several years she handled increasingly complex tasks and deepened her knowledge of litigation processes and client intake procedures.

In 2015 Dennis took a law clerk position at Landerholm Law, PS. The role put her closer to legal research and drafting under supervising attorneys. By then she had accumulated a range of practical skills from file management to legal writing. The next year she began practicing as a lawyer at Lori Ferguson Law Office, PS. That step marked her transition from support roles into professional practice.

Colleagues describe her development as steady and practical. She moved through roles that required attention to detail, firm procedure, and the kinds of repeated, exacting tasks that prepare attorneys for courtroom and client work. Her career path shows a mix of responsibilities that many attorneys take on: research, drafting, paperwork, and client communication. Those responsibilities shaped the way she approaches cases once she began practicing in a lawyer capacity.

Dennis is licensed to practice in Washington. Her background in law clerk programs and hands-on office roles informs how she manages files and deadlines. She has experience working inside small and mid-sized firm environments and understands the administrative and substantive aspects of casework. That familiarity can help streamline matters for clients and colleagues.

She keeps a practice rooted in the state where she trained and worked. Her experience across multiple firms has given her a practical sense of how legal work is delivered in Washington. She currently practices law in Washington and focuses her practice on serving clients in the state.
