About C. Joseph
C. Joseph Sinnitt has practiced law since the mid-1970s. He entered the profession after completing undergraduate and legal studies in the Pacific Northwest. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington in 1972 and a Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University Law School in 1975, where his studies included work in personal injury law.
He began his legal career in 1975. Those early years were spent learning courtroom procedure and client work. Over time he handled a variety of civil matters. His training at Gonzaga, together with years of practice, shaped the contours of his work. He has moved between negotiating settlements and presenting cases before judges and juries.
Sinnitt’s practice rests largely on civil litigation and personal injury work. He represents individuals pursuing claims arising from accidents and injuries, guiding cases from initial intake through resolution. That process often includes fact investigation, drafting pleadings, engaging in discovery and, when necessary, trying cases in court. He has experience managing the practical and procedural demands those tasks require.
Clients and colleagues describe him as deliberate and steady in the handling of disputes. He approaches case preparation with an emphasis on organization and adherence to deadlines. In court he relies on clear presentations of evidence and testimony. Outside the courtroom he focuses on securing practical outcomes when settlement makes sense for a client.
Over a long career, Sinnitt has seen changes in both law and practice. Rules of procedure have shifted, technology has altered how evidence is gathered and presented, and insurance practices have evolved. He has adapted his methods to meet those changes while maintaining a consistent approach to client service and case management.
Today, he continues to work in personal injury and civil litigation. He maintains an active legal practice, taking on cases that involve injury claims and related civil disputes. His current work centers on assisting individuals who have suffered physical harm and helping them pursue claims to address medical costs, lost income and other damages.
