About Bryan W.

Bryan W. Dillon is a certified specialist in Franchise and Distribution Law, recognized by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his Juris Doctor from Dickinson School of Law in 1999, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Arts at West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1992. This educational background gave him the skills necessary to navigate complex legal fields effectively. In 2025, Lagarias, Napell & Dillon, LLP merged with Luther Lanard, PC, marking a significant milestone in Bryan's career.

He continues his practice at the newly formed firm, where his expertise in franchise and business law remains invaluable. Before the merger, Bryan served as a partner at Lagarias, Napell & Dillon, LLP, located at 1629 5th Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901. His practice covers franchise and business law, including litigation, entity formation, contract review, and general business law. With over 25 years of experience, Bryan has represented clients, including large franchisee associations, single-unit franchisees, and sole proprietorships. His experience includes both trial and appellate work, where he has often achieved favorable settlements for his clients. This track record shows his ability to advocate effectively in high-stakes legal situations.

Bryan's dedication to his clients has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor in the field of franchise law. In addition to his practice, Bryan has contributed significantly to the legal community. He has served as a commissioner and Chair of the California State Bar’s Franchise and Distribution Law Advisory Commission (FDLAC), where he oversaw the certification process for franchise specialists. Furthermore, he has held the position of Chair of the State Bar’s Standing Committee on Franchise Law, enhancing his influence in shaping franchise law standards in California. His leadership roles reflect his commitment to advancing the field and supporting fellow practitioners. Bryan is admitted to practice in California and several U.S.

District Courts, including the Northern, Eastern. Central Districts of California, as well as the Eastern District of Michigan and the Districts of Massachusetts, Nevada, Nebraska, and Illinois. He is also admitted to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. This lets the attorney represent clients in many jurisdictions. Outside of his professional life, Bryan enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and staying connected with family and friends. As of February 17, 2026, he remains an active member of the State Bar of California, continuing to contribute to the legal profession and his community.
