About Bryan

Bryan Tisch graduated from Purdue University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science and earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2002. He completed law school at a time when the legal landscape in Indiana was changing rapidly. The early years after his degree shaped how he approaches courtroom work today.

He built his practice in Indiana. His professional life has been tied to the state’s civil justice system for more than two decades. He joined the board of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association in 2011 and has maintained that role since then. That long tenure reflects steady involvement in the state’s trial bar and ongoing engagement with peers on issues that affect litigators and their clients.

Tisch’s career has mixed courtroom work with professional leadership. Colleagues describe him as methodical and deliberate. He has spent years handling contested matters that require trial preparation, motion practice and negotiating settlements when appropriate. His work shows an emphasis on litigation strategies and managing cases from pleadings through trial.

Education plays a continuing role in his practice. The legal training he received at McKinney helped ground him in evidence, procedure and appellate considerations. He has translated those classroom lessons into the kinds of case planning that come up repeatedly in civil trials. Serving on the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association board gave him another outlet to engage on practical concerns, including lawyer education and the administration of trial practice standards across the state.

Today he is an attorney at Yosha Cook & Tisch. The firm’s name reflects a small partnership environment where shared decision-making is common. At the office he handles litigation tasks that require courtroom experience and client counseling. He works with other attorneys at the firm to prepare for hearings, manage discovery and try cases when they reach that stage.

Outside the courtroom, he remains involved in the trial bar through his ongoing board service. That involvement keeps him connected to developments in Indiana law and to the network of lawyers who try cases. He continues to practice in Indiana at Yosha Cook & Tisch, where his work centers on trial litigation and related matters.
