About Bryan David
Bryan David Fisher earned his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, completing his J.D. in 1991 after beginning studies in 1988. He arrived at law school following undergraduate work and left prepared for courtroom practice. The law center remains part of his professional network through an ongoing role in its Chancellor's Forum.
He began his legal career in 1991 as a maritime and general casualty litigation associate at Voorhies & Labbe. That early work placed him in matters that crossed state and federal lines and introduced him to the procedural demands of maritime law. Four years later he helped found Tomeny & Fisher, taking on a leadership role there and expanding his trial practice. The firm handled a range of personal injury and casualty cases, and Fisher’s responsibilities included trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
In 2010 he became the lead trial lawyer at Fisher Injury Lawyers, the firm that now carries his name. Over time his docket has included serious injury claims, maritime incidents and other casualty litigation. He has sought significant recoveries for clients and maintained courtroom calendars in multiple venues. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Texas, appears in all federal district courts in Louisiana, and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Professional recognition has followed that work. Fisher holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in both the Million Dollar Advocates and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates forums. Those listings reflect case outcomes rather than personal promotion. He also participates in professional associations. He is active in the American Association for Justice Leader’s Forum and in the Louisiana Association for Justice, where he engages with peers on trial advocacy and practice issues.
Colleagues describe him as a trial lawyer who prefers to let results and courtroom performance speak. He has built a practice on preparing cases for trial and taking complex or high-exposure matters to verdict when necessary. He regularly handles the procedural and evidentiary work that major casualty and maritime cases require.
Fisher continues to practice at Fisher Injury Lawyers, where he handles maritime and general casualty litigation and major personal injury matters in federal and state courts.
