About Bryan

Bryan Berman built a law school path that crosses state lines and classrooms. He earned a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007. He completed his J.D. at Whittier Law School in 2010 and returned to study for an LL.M. at the University of Colorado Law School, finishing that degree in 2012. The sequence shows a steady academic progression and additional postgraduate legal study.

Those academic years shaped his approach to practice. At Whittier he completed the work required for a law degree and at Colorado he pursued advanced legal study that follows a J.D. An LL.M. often provides time to refine research and writing and to explore state or federal legal issues more deeply. He spent those years in classrooms and law libraries, strengthening the kinds of analytical tools that attorneys use day to day.

After law school, he joined the firm Cooley Godward Kronish LLP as an associate. In that role he has worked alongside senior lawyers and been part of teams that handle matters for clients. His work as an associate has involved legal research, drafting court and transactional documents, and preparing analyses for more senior counsel. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage deadlines, and clear written work.

Berman is admitted to practice in California and Colorado. Those admissions allow him to advise on matters that touch both states. Working across jurisdictions means balancing different procedural rules and statutory frameworks. It also means coordinating with lawyers in other offices and often adapting written work to meet varying local requirements.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical in his approach. He relies on careful research and plain writing. He has continued to develop the skills common to associates at larger firms: client communication, document preparation, and collaborative problem solving. He has not been presented here with a public record of trial or appellate decisions tied to his name.

He maintains an active role at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP and practices law in California and Colorado as an associate at the firm.
