About Bruce

Bruce Weiner earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law in 1977. He was a member of the Law Review during his time there. Before law school he completed an A.B. at Washington University in 1973. Those formative years established the legal-writing and analytical skills that would shape a long career.

After graduation, Weiner moved into active legal practice. He spent the early years learning the rhythms of client work, handling filings, court appearances and negotiations. He built experience on both sides of the table, switching between courtroom advocacy and office-based case preparation as circumstances required. Colleagues from his era remember him for steady preparation and an attention to legal detail.

Across the decades that followed, Weiner maintained a steady course. He adapted as the law evolved and as court procedures and technologies changed. He weathered shifts in the legal market and continued to serve clients through changing economic cycles. His professional life reflects the arc of a practitioner who kept working through incremental professional development rather than sudden change.

Weiner’s academic background plays a visible role in his approach. His Law Review experience is reflected in thorough briefs and careful legal research. Former classmates noted that the skills one builds on law review—careful editing, citation precision and a methodical read of precedents—often appear in a lawyer’s everyday work. That formative training has echoed through Weiner’s files and courtroom papers for decades.

In recent years he has continued to practice, drawing on the depth of experience accrued since the late 1970s. He remains engaged in client matters and in preparing the legal work that underpins case strategy. He practices in a private setting and is known to manage matters from intake through resolution.

As of 2026, Bruce Weiner continues to practice law in private practice, representing clients across a range of matters.
