About Brooke D.

Brooke D. Hendricks-Green built a steady legal career across West Texas courts and offices. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from McMurry University in 2002 and completed her law degree at Texas Tech University School of Law in 2006. Those years shaped an early interest in public-service prosecution and trial work.

She began her career in the Midland County District Attorney’s Office in 2006. That role put her in courtrooms regularly and gave her hands-on experience in case preparation. In 2010 she joined the Ector County District Attorney’s Office as an assistant district attorney. Over the next several years she rose through the ranks and was named 1st Assistant District Attorney in 2014. Her time in those offices involved prosecuting a range of criminal matters and supervising junior prosecutors.

In 2015 Hendricks-Green moved into private practice as an associate at Hamilton, Hull & Rogers. The change brought a different caseload and a new perspective on litigation and client relations. She continued to work on trial matters while handling responsibilities typical of a mid-size firm associate. The transition from public prosecutor to firm lawyer widened her day-to-day work and her understanding of how cases progress from filing to resolution.

Beyond courtroom work, she has remained active in the local legal community. She joined the Ector County Bar in 2011 and has been a member since. She took on a leadership role in the Ector County Young Lawyers Association and has served as its vice president from 2011 onward. Earlier in her career she participated in the Midland County Young Lawyers from 2006 until 2010. She was also a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas from 2011 to 2013.

Colleagues describe her as experienced in prosecutorial practice and familiar with trial procedures, evidence, and courtroom strategy. Her experience spans felony and misdemeanor prosecutions as well as supervisory duties in a county district attorney’s office. At the firm she has applied that background to civil litigation and related trial work.

Hendricks-Green continues to practice at Hamilton, Hull & Rogers. Her current practice concentrates on litigation that draws on her years in county prosecutor offices and on trial experience gained in both public and private roles.
