About Brittney

Brittney Kohler earned her undergraduate degree from Winona State University in 2013, where she studied Law and Society and History. She went on to receive her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016. Her academic path combined classroom study with early practical experience, a pattern that continued into her professional life.

While still in law school she worked as a law clerk at Smeberg Law Office PLLC in 2014. That role introduced her to day-to-day law office work and the demands of client service. After completing her degree she moved into associate roles at small firms, taking on a growing caseload and deeper responsibilities.

In 2017 Kohler joined Hoglund Law as an associate lawyer. She handled matters on behalf of clients, conducted legal research, prepared filings and supported hearings. The position broadened her exposure to procedural work and client counseling in a law office setting. She has been active in the Minnesota legal community since that time and became a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association in 2017.

Kohler shifted firms again in 2020 when she became an associate at Jeddeloh & Snyder PA. There she worked on a variety of client matters and continued to develop courtroom and negotiation skills. Her tenure at multiple small firms provided experience in case management and in guiding clients through the stages of litigation and resolution.

In 2022 she launched Kohler Law Office PLLC. As founder and lawyer, Kohler took on both the practice and the administrative responsibilities of operating a solo firm. She manages client intake, case strategy and the routine business functions that keep a firm running. Her work remains grounded in client communication and procedural accuracy.

Licensed to practice in Minnesota, Kohler has built a practice that reflects steady professional progression from clerk to firm founder. Her career shows an emphasis on practical legal work and direct client service. She currently practices through Kohler Law Office PLLC, handling legal matters for clients in Minnesota.
