About Brittany A.
Brittany A. LaBerge began building her legal skills in Vermont’s clinical and government settings. Her early hands-on training included a 2016 stint as a student clinician at the South Royalton Legal Clinic and a 2018 student internship at the Vermont Lawyer General s Office. Those placements exposed her to client intake, courtroom preparation, and the routine of public-sector practice.
The clinical work at South Royalton put her in direct contact with clients who needed practical help. She conducted interviews, researched case law, and drafted documents under supervision. The internship two years later added a different perspective. At the Vermont Lawyer General s Office she encountered public-law matters and the demands of a government practice, assisting staff attorneys on research and case preparation tasks.
Those formative experiences shaped how she approaches legal work. She learned to combine careful legal research with clear written work. She also gained repeated opportunities to practice client communication and to prepare materials for hearings and negotiations. The progression from clinic to government office gave her a rounded view of the procedural and substantive sides of representing clients in Vermont.
After those early roles, LaBerge moved into private practice. She joined DL Vermont, PLLC, where she has continued to build her day-to-day practice. At the firm she handles intake, prepares filings, and represents clients in various proceedings. Her caseload reflects the steady demands of Vermont practice and the sorts of matters that touch ordinary Vermonters.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and pragmatic in advising clients. She tends to break complex issues into manageable steps for clients who are new to the legal process. This approach mirrors the work she did in clinics and at the government office, where practical problem-solving is a constant requirement.
LaBerge’s record is rooted in hands-on experience rather than public accolades. She has worked across public and private settings common to many Vermont lawyers. That background informs how she handles files and communicates with opposing counsel and tribunal staff.
She continues to practice in Vermont at DL Vermont, PLLC, focusing on legal matters arising in the state.
