About Britt
Britt Eastland took an unconventional path to law. She studied Business Administration at Washington & Lee University before enrolling at St. Mary s University School of Law. That blend of business training and legal study shapes how she approaches cases and client conversations.
After law school she entered the Texas legal community. She has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 2006. That year marked her formal connection to the courts and practitioners across the state. Over time she gravitated toward criminal defense work and the courtroom practice that comes with it.
Her practice centers on criminal defense in Texas courts. She represents clients in a range of criminal matters and works in both trial and pretrial settings. Her background in business gives her an eye for the practical consequences of criminal charges. She combines that perspective with courtroom experience to advise clients on options and likely outcomes.
Eastland maintains active ties to the local criminal defense bar. She holds memberships in the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. These affiliations keep her current on changes in state law and local practice. They also provide a network of peers she consults on complex legal questions.
Colleagues describe her as someone who prefers clear explanations over legal jargon. She aims to make the process understandable for clients who are often facing stressful circumstances. Outside the courtroom she continues to follow developments in Texas criminal law and attends professional meetings and seminars.
She is currently practicing criminal defense in Texas.
