About Brian
Brian Waller combined business training and legal study before launching his law career. He earned an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008 after beginning that program in 2006. He then pursued a law degree at New England Law | Boston, completing his J.D. in 2012. The sequence of degrees shaped a practice that bridges commercial concerns and courtroom procedure.
After finishing law school, Waller entered practice in Massachusetts. He is admitted to the Massachusetts bar and also to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He maintains active memberships in the State Bar of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Worcester County Bar Association, where he participates in the bar community and stays current on developments in state and federal practice.
Waller's background in business and law informs the way he approaches client matters. He draws on his MBA when assessing the commercial implications of legal choices and uses courtroom admission at the federal level when litigation requires it. Colleagues describe him as methodical; clients can expect attention to both legal detail and the practical consequences of a given strategy.
Much of his day-to-day work takes place through Sequel Law LLC, where he handles matters that reach state and federal forums. He has experience managing filings and appearances in Massachusetts courts and the federal district court that covers the state. That procedural familiarity helps when cases move from negotiation to formal litigation.
Outside of court appearances, Waller keeps active in local bar organizations. His memberships in statewide and county bar groups give him regular contact with peers across specialties. Those professional networks offer informal resources and a way to track changes in rules, procedure and substantive law that affect clients.
As a practitioner who pursued graduate business study before law school, Waller brings a dual perspective to legal problems. He works from Sequel Law LLC and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts; his current practice concentrates on matters that involve both business considerations and litigation in state and federal courts.
