About Brian
Brian Wallace is a Missouri- and Kansas-licensed attorney who has spent his career in the Kansas City legal community. He is a partner at Foster Wallace, LLC, a position he has held since 2018. Colleagues and clients see him regularly in regional courthouses and at negotiated tables, where he applies years of firm-side experience to practical problems.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. His academic path kept him close to the city where he would build his practice. The law school years coincided with a period of firm work that set the stage for his later roles.
Wallace began his legal career at Polsinelli PC, joining the firm as an associate in 2008. Over eight years he took on increasing responsibility. In 2016 he advanced to shareholder at Polsinelli, a role that involved case management, client counseling, and contributing to firm leadership. The promotion reflected steady internal growth rather than a single high-profile event.
In 2018 he left Polsinelli to become a partner at Foster Wallace, LLC. At Foster Wallace he shifted into a smaller firm environment where partner-level responsibilities include supervising teams, directing client matters, and helping shape firm strategy. The move allowed him to draw on the systems of a larger firm while practicing in a more compact, locally focused setting.
Wallace is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Kansas. He maintains professional memberships in regional associations and participates in the legal community in ways that link client work to local court systems. Over time he has balanced courtroom appearances with negotiated resolutions, and he continues to handle matters that require both litigation experience and transactional understanding.
He remains based in the Kansas City area and practices through Foster Wallace, LLC. He currently concentrates his practice on matters arising in Missouri and Kansas and continues to serve clients from across the region.
