Brian W. Reidy trained at Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He completed law school before stepping into public service in Cook County. That early legal education set the stage for steady moves between government work and private practice.
He began his professional career in 2009 as an Assistant States Lawyer serving in Cook County. That role gave him front-line experience in courtroom work and the day-to-day responsibilities of public legal practice. In 2012 he moved to private practice as a lawyer at LeVine, Wittenberg, Shugan & Schatz Ltd., where he spent time handling matters on behalf of the firm’s clients and gaining familiarity with civil litigation and client counseling in a firm setting.
In 2014 Reidy opened his own practice, Reidy Law Office. He later organized the practice as Reidy Law Office LLC. As owner and principal, he has overseen the management of the firm and its work on behalf of clients. Running a small firm has required him to balance casework with administrative duties.
