About Brian Patrick
Brian Patrick Brunson earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2015. He completed a traditional course of study and entered private practice soon after. His legal education placed him in a generation of attorneys who began practicing during a period of rapid change in court procedures and dispute resolution services.
He is licensed to practice in Texas and established The Law Office of Brian Brunson, Pllc as the center of his legal work. He opened the firm to provide direct client service rather than to operate within a large firm structure. Over the years he has handled matters that range from everyday disputes to more complex issues that require careful negotiation and courtroom presence.
Brunson also serves as a certified mediator through his firm. That credential allows him to offer alternative dispute resolution services in addition to traditional representation. The mediator role is a practical extension of his courtroom work. It often requires a different temperament, one oriented to problem solving and controlled negotiation rather than adversarial argument.
Clients and colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic. He aims to identify options early and present clear pathways forward. That can mean steering a client toward settlement when a negotiated outcome appears likely to meet the client’s needs. It can also mean preparing a case for trial when the circumstances demand it. He balances advocacy in court with efforts to resolve disputes outside of it.
Brunson’s practice reflects a local emphasis. He maintains an office through his own firm and manages client intake, case development, and mediation services there. Running a small firm has required him to cover many roles — lawyer, counselor, administrator — and to tailor services to the needs of individual clients rather than to a one-size-fits-all model.
He has remained active in practice since his entry to the bar after law school and continues to serve clients across matters handled by his office. His work today centers on representing individuals and businesses in state matters and providing mediation services through The Law Office of Brian Brunson, Pllc.
