About Brian O.
Brian O. Noble began his legal path at the University of Mississippi, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Military Science in 2004. He then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and received his J.D. in 2010. Those formative years combined civilian study and military discipline, and they set the tone for a career that bridges public service and private practice.
Noble entered the legal profession after a federal clerkship. In 2010 he served as a law clerk to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. That role exposed him to federal procedure and case management early in his career. He moved into private practice in 2011 at Cabaniss, Johnston, Gardner, Dumas & O'Neal LLP, then worked at The Noble Firm, LLC in 2012. A stint at Littler in 2014 followed, giving him experience at a national labor and employment firm. He spent 2019 at Haynes & Haynes, P.C., and in 2020 he founded Capstone Law, LLC.
Along the way Noble maintained ties to legal education. In 2016 he taught Lawyering and Legal Reasoning at Samford University. Teaching grounded his approach to case preparation and legal writing. It also kept him connected to the next generation of lawyers.
Before law school Noble served in uniform. He was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army beginning in 2004 and had earlier served as a sergeant in the Mississippi Army National Guard. That military service informed his approach to fact-gathering and to disciplined advocacy.
Noble is admitted to practice in Alabama and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. He belongs to the Alabama State Bar, where his membership dates back to 2010. He holds memberships in the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Alabama Employment Lawyers Association, and he is active in local organizations including the Birmingham Bar Association. He is also a member of veteran groups such as the Veteran of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
At Capstone Law, LLC, Noble handles matters that arise in state and federal courts. He draws on courtroom experience, federal practice knowledge and military service in advising clients. He currently practices primarily in employment and federal litigation matters.
