Mr. Coggins earned his Juris Doctor with Great Distinction from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 2005, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He also received a Tax Concentration Certificate and was a recipient of the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Business Associations, Contracts, International Tax, Criminal Law, and Civil Procedure. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento, in 2002. Before founding Coggins Law, P.C., Mr.
Coggins worked as an accountant and tax preparer with companies such as Harley Davidson. He also served as a founding partner at Coggins Johnston Meyer, LLP. His practice areas include tax law, bankruptcy, business litigation, estate planning. Real estate law. Mr.
Coggins is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He resides in Rocklin, California, with his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Nicolas and Ellie.
