About Brian K
Brian K Marshall grew up academically focused and moved steadily into law. He earned a B.A. in political science from Brigham Young University in 1995 and completed his J.D. at the University of Idaho College of Law in 1999. Those years set the stage for a career that has crossed public service and private practice in Idaho.
Marshall began his legal career in the public sector. In 2001 he worked at the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office. That early experience exposed him to courtroom procedure, case preparation and the demands of public safety lawyering. He moved from that role into private practice and by 2003 was part of Marshall & Stark, PLLC in Meridian. The switch reflected a broader interest in representing private clients and advising businesses and individuals outside the prosecutorial context.
By 2008 Marshall had joined Intermountain Legal Group in Meridian. He remained in the Treasure Valley legal community. Two years later, in 2010, he joined Idaho Business Law Group in Meridian, where he continued to develop his practice. The pattern of moves suggests a steady turn toward business-focused work while retaining the trial-tested perspective from his earlier public service.
Marshall is admitted to practice in Idaho. Over the course of more than two decades he has worked in both government and private firms. Those roles gave him a mix of litigation experience and transactional work common to attorneys who migrate from prosecution to business law. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and attentive to client needs, qualities that suited both courtroom and office settings.
He maintains a local practice in Meridian, where he has spent much of his career. His resume lists positions at Marshall & Stark, Intermountain Legal Group and Idaho Business Law Group, PLLC. He also brings the perspective of early public-sector work in Nez Perce County. He currently practices business law at Idaho Business Law Group, PLLC in Meridian, Idaho.
