About Brian Francis

Brian Francis Early is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in New York, California, and Connecticut. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001, the California State Bar in 2002, and the Connecticut State Bar in 2016. His license status is active in all three jurisdictions. Mr. Early is the managing partner at Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen, a law firm specializing in asbestos and mesothelioma litigation. Mr. Early earned his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000, graduating magna cum laude. During his time at Georgetown, he served as an editor on The Georgetown Law Journal. Prior to law school, he graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 1996 with an A.B. in Economics. At Harvard, he was awarded the Harvard College scholarship for academic achievement and was on the Dean's List all semesters.

Mr. Early's practice focuses on representing victims of asbestos exposure diagnosed with mesothelioma, including pleural, sarcomatoid, and epithelial types. He handles all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. He has served as Liaison Counsel to the court in the New York City Asbestos Litigation and has been an invited speaker at several conferences on asbestos litigation.

Throughout his career, Mr. Early has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. In 2024, he was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs, Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs.

Mr. Early is involved with Riprap Friends, an organization that supports pediatric oncology patients. He is fluent in English and has been recognized for his contributions to asbestos litigation through various speaking engagements and professional recognitions.
