About Brian F
Brian F Davis built his legal foundation in North Carolina. He studied political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a degree in 1983. He then completed his law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law in 1988.
After law school, Davis entered practice and over time expanded the scope of where he is authorized to appear. He is admitted to the bar in North Carolina and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the Federal Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Those admissions have allowed him to handle matters at both the trial and appellate levels.
His peers have recognized his work through professional memberships and elected roles. In 1998 he was elected to the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He was listed in The Best Lawyers in America in 2007. In 2010 he served on the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiffs Interstate Truck Lawyers of America, reflecting involvement in multi-jurisdictional plaintiff litigation.
Davis has combined courtroom practice with organizational participation. The elected seat on the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Board of Governors placed him among attorneys shaping practice concerns and continuing education in the state. The advisory role for the interstate truck lawyers' group connected him to a national network focused on roadway-incident and commercial-vehicle litigation.
