About Brian
Brian Bez earned his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1981. He entered the legal profession at a time when courts and statutes were undergoing steady change. His academic training in Gainesville provided a base for a career practiced on both sides of the state line.
His early years in practice took him through several Michigan firms. He worked at Swistak Levine, P.L., in 1984 and then joined Sullivan & Leavitt in 1986. In 1987 he was with Small & Berris, P.C., and the following year he moved to The Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, P.C. Those roles gave him repeated courtroom exposure and experience handling matters across different civil settings.
Bez holds licenses in both Michigan and Florida. He maintains memberships in the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Florida. He is also an active member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Those associations signal ongoing participation in professional communities and a continuing connection to developments in litigation practice.
Colleagues describe a steady practitioner who has been part of firm teams for decades. His résumé shows movement through several established practices in the 1980s before settling into his current firm affiliation. That path is common for attorneys who refine litigation skills in multiple office environments and then take on longer-term roles where institutional knowledge can deepen.
He joined The Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, P.C. in 1988 and remains affiliated with that office. He practices under licenses in Michigan and Florida and represents clients in matters that take advantage of his years of courtroom experience and bar memberships. As of 2026 he continues to work at The Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, P.C., handling cases in Michigan and Florida.
