About Brian
Brian Arnold earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2005. He headed to Utah after law school and joined the legal community there. Early in his career he moved quickly from associate work into a leadership role at a small firm.
Within three years of graduating, Arnold became a partner at Arnold & Wadsworth PLLC in 2008. That promotion came after a period of private practice that included courtroom appearances and client counseling. His record at the firm shows steady responsibility for case management and trial preparation, and the partner role expanded his involvement in firm strategy and client intake.
Arnold holds a bar license from the Utah State Bar. He became active in professional circles early in his practice and has maintained those ties. Since 2010 he has served on the board of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. That long-running board role places him in regular contact with other defense attorneys and with statewide issues affecting criminal practice.
His work at Arnold & Wadsworth has included criminal defense matters. Courtroom work and pretrial proceedings feature in the matters he handles. He also assists clients on related procedural questions and evidentiary issues that arise during criminal cases. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in court and thorough in pretrial work.
Arnold practices out of Arnold & Wadsworth’s Ogden office and participates in the firm’s broader casework. He has balanced firm duties, board responsibilities and courtroom calendars for more than a decade. Outside of active litigation he has contributed to discussions and training offered through professional groups, drawing on his years of practice since graduating law school.
As of 2026 he continues to practice law through Arnold & Wadsworth PLLC, concentrating on criminal defense and trial representation for clients in Utah.
