About Brendan

Brendan Faulkner earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1998. He completed his legal education at a time when the practice was adapting to new technologies and shifting litigation trends. That classroom and clinic work provided the foundation for a long career in the law.

At UConn, Faulkner would have been exposed to the core skills shared by most contemporary law programs: legal research, persuasive writing and oral advocacy. The curriculum in the late 1990s emphasized practical problem solving alongside doctrinal study. Those elements often shape how graduates approach client matters, and they remain visible in Faulkner’s professional approach.

Following graduation, Faulkner built a practice grounded in the procedural and analytical work lawyers perform every day. His path reflects the steady application of legal training to real-world problems. Over time he developed habits that clients and colleagues notice: careful case preparation, attention to legal detail and an emphasis on clear written work.

Colleagues describe Faulkner as someone who values the institutional aspects of the profession. He has maintained ties to professional networks and participated in continuing legal education typical for lawyers of his cohort. Those connections have supported his work and kept him current on changes in statute and case law.

Faulkner’s day-to-day work draws on the skills most law schools teach. He spends time on legal research and drafting, prepares filings and motions when appropriate, and engages in client counseling rooted in a methodical assessment of facts and law. His approach is practical and disciplined. He relies on steady preparation rather than headline-grabbing strategies.

Over the years he has worked in settings where careful legal analysis and measured advocacy are the central tasks. He has handled the kinds of matters that require methodical attention to procedure and precedent. That steady practice has defined his professional life more than any single case or public role.

He currently practices law, applying his legal training to client representation and casework.
