About Brendan
Brendan Block earned his B.B.A. in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University in 2010 and completed his Juris Doctor at Saint Louis University School of Law in 2013. His academic path combined business coursework with legal training, equipping him to handle both transactional matters and courtroom work. He moved quickly from law school into public service, taking roles that put him in courtrooms early in his career.
His first post-law school position was as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Franklin County in 2014. That year in the prosecutor’s office gave him steady exposure to case preparation, plea negotiations and trial procedures. He spent time managing caseloads and working with victims, law enforcement and fellow attorneys to bring cases to resolution. The experience shaped his approach to litigation and to practical problem solving under time pressure.
In 2015 he joined the Byrnes Law Office. The move shifted his work from government to private practice. At Byrnes he handled matters that required direct client counseling and file management outside the prosecutor’s office structure. A year later he launched his own practice. Since 2016 he has been the owner and lawyer of B. Block Law, running a small practice and overseeing all aspects of client work and firm administration.
Throughout his career he has relied on courtroom experience and hands-on file handling. He has performed prosecutorial duties and then transitioned into roles where client relationships and individualized legal strategies mattered more. That background gives him a perspective on both sides of the aisle: how government cases are built and how private representation responds to them.
He is licensed to practice in Missouri and is a member of The Missouri Bar. He maintains his practice in the state and handles representation that grows out of the mix of public- and private-sector work he has done since graduating law school.
Brendan Block currently operates B. Block Law, representing clients in Missouri and drawing on his years in both the prosecutor’s office and private practice. His current practice focuses on serving clients through B. Block Law.
