About Bren Christoph
Bren Christoph Conner is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1988. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Conner is the principal attorney at Conner & Associates, a civil litigation and business law firm located in Redondo Beach, California. He has been practicing law for over 37 years, serving clients throughout the South Bay area and beyond.
Mr. Conner earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1988. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors in 1984 with an A.B. degree in Political Economies of Industrial Societies. During his time at UC Hastings, he worked as a law clerk for a leading litigation firm in San Francisco and served as a judicial extern for Judge Charles Legge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Mr. Conner concentrates his practice in civil litigation and business law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving contract disputes, real estate issues, employment litigation, misappropriation of trade secrets, environmental law, personal injuries, and consumer legal remedies. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Conner has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm in 1996, he worked as a senior associate at Brobeck Phleger & Harrison, handling business and environmental litigation matters on behalf of major corporations and oil companies.
Mr. Conner is an active member of the South Bay Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He has been admitted pro hac vice to litigate cases in Arizona, Arkansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Florida. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the South Bay area effectively.
