About Brandy S
Brandy S Perez earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame in 1997, where she studied psychology and sociology. She later returned to school for law, enrolling at Concordia University School of Law and receiving her J.D. in 2018 after beginning the program in 2015. Her academic path combined social science and legal training, a background that informs the work she has undertaken since entering the field.
Perez moved into immigration work early in her professional life. In 2017 she served as Immigration Program Director at the Community Council of Idaho. There she was involved in developing and managing immigration programs and services for the council. That role put her in regular contact with community partners, service providers and clients navigating complex immigration systems.
After law school she obtained admissions that allow her to practice in Idaho and before the Ninth Circuit. These credentials have shaped the kinds of matters she takes on. They also mean she can pursue both state-level cases and federal filings when circumstances require it.
In 2022 Perez opened her own firm, Perez Law, PLLC, where she is the owner and practicing attorney. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Idaho Chapter since 2018. That association work keeps her connected to developments in immigration law and to other practitioners handling removals, visas, humanitarian relief and related matters.
Perez’s work centers on immigration law. She represents individuals and families in administrative proceedings and immigration-related filings. She also handles matters that intersect with federal court practice when clients require appeals or other filings at the circuit level. Her practice reflects a blend of direct client representation and casework tied to broader regulatory and procedural issues in immigration.
Her approach is practical. She evaluates options available under current law and files on behalf of clients where appropriate. She also engages with community organizations and legal networks that assist immigrants in Idaho. That civic connection is a through-line from her earlier nonprofit role to her present private practice.
She currently practices immigration law at Perez Law, PLLC.
