About Brandon S.
Brandon S. Gillin completed his legal education at Vermont Law School, earning a J.D. in 2008 after receiving a B.A. from Western Washington University in 2000. He moved from the academic setting into practical legal work soon after law school, starting in a clinic environment before joining private practice.
His early hands-on experience came as a legal intern at the South Royalton Legal Clinic in 2010. The next year he joined Johnson, Gaukroger, Smith & Marchant, P.S. as a lawyer, gaining experience in a firm setting. In 2012 he became part of Genesis Law Office, PLLC, continuing his work as a lawyer and building a record of client work across routine and complex matters.
Over the next several years Gillin shifted from firm roles toward running his own practice. In 2020 he established Gillin Law Group, PLLC and serves as the firm’s owner and lawyer. That move placed him in the dual role of managing a small law office while continuing to represent clients and oversee case work.
Gillin is authorized to practice in Washington. His professional timeline shows steady movement through different legal environments: clinic, firm, and solo practice. Those transitions reflect a breadth of experience in day-to-day lawyering and office management.
At his firm he handles client matters from initial consultation through resolution, coordinating filings and hearings as required. He also manages the administrative responsibilities that come with owning a law practice. Colleagues and clients know him as someone who moved deliberately from training positions into established firm roles and then into leadership of his own firm.
Across more than a decade in practice, Gillin’s career has been marked by steady progression rather than abrupt change. He has worked both as part of larger teams and as the primary attorney for his clients. That combination informs how he staffs matters and allocates resources at Gillin Law Group, PLLC.
As of 2026 he practices law at Gillin Law Group, PLLC in Washington, operating the firm and serving clients in the state.
