About Brandon E
Brandon E Tate built his legal foundation in the Midwest. He earned a B.S. in political science, with a minor in economics, from Clemson University in 2008. He then returned to Indiana for law school, receiving his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2010.
Soon after finishing law school, Tate began practicing in Indiana. He became managing partner at Tate & Bowen LLP in 2013. Colleagues and court filings show him handling matters through early case stages and in courthouse settings. As managing partner he took on administrative duties at the firm while continuing to handle client matters and supervise litigation strategy.
Tate’s professional memberships reflect an interest in courtroom practice and broader legal community involvement. He has been a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2010. He joined the Indiana Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association in 2013 and maintains those memberships. These affiliations provide regular continuing-education opportunities and contact with trial lawyers and judges across the state.
His background combines a liberal arts undergraduate education and a professional law degree from an Indiana institution. That educational arc shaped a practice grounded in state rules and procedure. It also placed him among peers who regularly appear in Indiana courts.
Outside of courtroom work, Tate’s role as managing partner has involved supervising lawyers and coordinating firm resources. He has overseen case preparation, client communication, and the kinds of logistical details that keep a small firm functioning. The combination of administrative and courtroom responsibilities means he moves between office management and active matter work on a daily basis.
Tate remains based in Indiana and continues to participate in bar activities at the local and state levels. Those memberships inform his practice and provide access to continuing legal education and peer networks.
He currently practices law in Indiana at Tate & Bowen LLP. His present work centers on representing clients in matters before Indiana courts.
