About Bradley W.

Bradley W. Oastler completed his undergraduate studies at Colgate University, earning a B.A. in 2006 after attending from 2002 to 2006. He went on to Albany Law School, where he received his J.D. in 2009 following three years of study. Those classrooms set the groundwork for a career spent practicing law in New York state.

After law school he became licensed to practice in New York. He has built his career around the demands of state court practice and the procedural work that underpins litigation. That experience includes courtroom work, motion practice and the steady production of pleadings and briefs — the sort of tasks that shape a day-to-day legal practice even when cases are quiet.

Oastler works out of the Syracuse office of Anelli Xavier, PC. There he is part of a team that serves clients across the region. His work is performed in the context of a firm that handles a steady flow of matters requiring attention to court rules, filings and deadlines. Much of an attorney’s work in that setting is methodical and detail-oriented. He has learned to prioritize the practical steps that move a case forward.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and direct in his dealings. He favors clear communication over legal jargon. He focuses on preparing records and arguments that judges and opposing counsel can rely on. That approach shapes how he prepares discovery, drafts motions and manages client expectations. It also guides interactions with opposing counsel and court staff, where routine professionalism is often decisive.

Outside the office he stays connected to developments in New York law through continuing education and regular exposure to state court practice. His education at Colgate and Albany Law School remains a touchstone. The training he received there is evident in his methodical courtroom preparation and attention to procedural detail.

As of 2026 he practices at Anelli Xavier, PC in Syracuse and is admitted to the bar in New York. His current practice centers on matters brought in New York state courts and related proceedings.
